Small Team, Big Ideas

When the small talk ends and the real conversation begins, that’s where our story truly starts. Architecture isn’t just our profession—it’s our language, our obsession, and the way we make sense of the world. But getting here? That’s been one hell of a journey.

Back in 2019, fate introduced Līga and Jack. From the first conversation, it was clear they were cut from the same cloth—both relentless in their pursuit of great design, both seeing architecture as more than just buildings, but as a way to shape life itself. Jack, already an experienced architect, saw a spark in Līga that reminded him of himself years ago. He poured his energy into mentoring her, and together, they built something special.

Then life threw everything at them. Jack faced extreme health challenges that no one saw coming. Līga became a parent, navigating sleepless nights while keeping the business afloat. Mistakes were made, lessons were learned the hard way, and for a moment, it seemed like everything might fall apart.

But here’s the thing about real passion—it doesn’t quit. Through resilience, sheer determination, and a stubborn refusal to let go of their vision, they pulled through. And now? Now, they’re rising from the ashes, stronger, wiser, and more determined than ever to bring fresh, thoughtful, and joyful architecture to the world.

This isn’t just a company. It’s a story of survival, reinvention, and the power of great design to transform not just spaces, but lives.

  • We constantly develop features based on customer feedback and strive to provide the best possible customer experience. Enough from us, learn what SAXON Architects’ clients have to say about us:

  • "I thought we would have to wait weeks for planning as what we wanted seemed a big job but Jack made some simple changes to the layout of our downstairs that got in under the planning restrictions. This made it so much quicker! Saxon are the best architects in Thanet by far."

    Frank Harnett-Burns

    Herne Bay, Kent

  • "Like a lot of families round here we wanted open plan as well as improving some of the existing rooms we had. With Jack it was like a double whammy, planning our kitchen diner and managing to work in a downstairs office all within permitted rights. He was a pleasure to work with."

    Karen Price

    Whitstable, Kent

  • "Jack really made this process easy. There were times when I thought things were going to get really stressful but Jack from Saxon Architects was so confident in his experience with the local authority that he was able to present a valid argument for us and push our plans forward. Thank you Jack."
